Interesting to see Man United using augmented reality on the new home kit, where fans can scan the shirt to unlock content.... something we did at Formidable for Sarah Batters and Southampton Football Club for the 2021/22 season kit launches. Various elements of the kit (the club crest, the hummel logo, icons on the back of the shirt etc) were markers that triggered the content. We had exclusive videos,and even a mini AR version of James Ward Prowse!

We collaborated with Canon EMEA to launch their EOS R5 Mark II camera with a multi-platform digital campaign! To demonstrate the camera’s unparalleled high performance, we challenged Director and hybrid creator Anthony Rubinstein to shoot and edit a full music video and stills in under 48 hours. With the countdown on, we put the camera through its paces, shooting a music video for singer/songwriter Hana Lili. aaaaand we're live. Since March, we've been working around the clock and world to deliver two biggies - The R1 and the R5 Mk2 for Canon EMEA. It's taken an army, internally and externally. And there's a mountain of people to thank. So below, a little content, but mostly this post is to say thanks to all the people who made it possible. For the R5 Mk2 launch, trial by fire with Formidable, who smashed it out of the park with Anthony Rubinstein and Hana Lili. Deep dives, TikToks, Insta reels and everything to come. But given my background, it's still taken over 5 years to get a music video creative made with Canon, and they've more than done it justice. For The R1, the legends at ITCH pulled together our first semi-global launch. Americans and Canadians in London, a Greek in Norway and New Zealand travelling to Amsterdam. Exacting circumstances and they still brought everything home on time. This marks our first formal collaboration with Canon Australia, and Canon USA, so big love to those teams for the trust to deliver the flagship, and the wider home team for their support putting it together. But most importantly (And Jesus, this sounds like an Oscars speech, but I'm tired so go with it) the team - Mark, John, Omid and Agi for all their hard work over the last few months on every element of this. Anyway, there's a mountain of great stuff to come. Two genuinely great products and (I reckon) some great content to celebrate it. Now - what's next?
