“I did a few accounting modules at university and found it really interesting, that’s what sparked my interest in accounting. “I chose to apply to PKF Francis Clark for my training because of their strong focus on development wellbeing and development. The firm has created a positive environment that encourages me to perform my best. “I also love that PKF Francis Clark is based in the South West. Living in Devon allows me to have a great work-life balance; I’ve got city, coast and countryside all right here! “I’m beginning my second year of study with the firm and it’s going great! I’m constantly improving in my work and enjoying everything I do. My manager gives me every opportunity to push myself and supports me through any mistakes. In fact, everyone that I work with is incredibly supportive and motivating. “I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve learned in a year, it’s like every day is a school day! I’ve also been pleasantly surprised with the level of responsibility I’ve been given, for example communicating directly with clients and taking on the lead on certain jobs. I’ve recently been given the opportunity to join the cloud accounting team. It’s innovative and it’s so rewarding when I help a business and then see them enjoying the gains. “My hopes for the future are to complete my training and continue gaining exposure in as many areas of accounting as possible.” Pippa, trainee accountant Explore trainee accounting jobs on our website: https://lnkd.in/eXBrxcwg
