    In honour of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we wanted to share our interview with Praj Prayag-Deb! Praj Prayag-Deb, MS, CRISC, C-CISO, a seasoned Security Risk strategist with nearly two decades of experience in Technology Risk and Security Governance, specializes in crafting robust security programs to meet regulatory objectives and mitigate risks. Renowned for her expertise and innovation in Cybersecurity risk management, she excels in operationalizing CISO strategies and driving organizational transformation. With a background in Technology Audit, including roles at Ernst & Young, LLP, she has held leadership positions at top-tier fortune 50 and financial organizations such as Comcast, Bank of America, and Morgan Stanley. As the former Director of Information Risk & Internal Controls for Horizon Media, she established governance, risk, and compliance teams and championed cybersecurity standards. In July 2023, Praj founded Cyberpink Advisors, offering fractional CISO support and independent cybersecurity and risk management solutions. Praj holds CRISC and C-CISO certifications, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in computer engineering. She is a sought-after speaker at industry events, sharing her insights on Governance, Risk, and Cybersecurity at prestigious forums.
