The Freshwalks programme is warming up as we head deeper into Autumn 🍂 Dig out those extra layers, fill a flask with your favourite hot tipple and come, step out with us! We kick off November with a classic moorland hike around Marsden, West Yorkshire, perfectly located for both Manchester and Leeds business communities to make new connections. The following week we retreat into the Cheshire woodland sanctuary of Alderley Edge (Walks for Women) and Delamere Forest with Haines Watts and Bathgate Business Finance for our Merseyside business community. Our second Sunrise Hike of the season explores the Hope Valley. Plus, our ever-popular City Express format is back with pro-manchester in Manchester city centre. But arguably, we've saved the best for last with our epic Three Shires Adventure from Macclesfield Forest to the outskirts of Leek. A route that includes peaks, plunge pools, chasms, forest and much more. Hopefully, we'll see you in the hills.

Freshwalks creates closer business connections and promotes wellbeing to boost resilience, inspire creative thinking and bring balance to busy working lives. Rambles & Hikes - private & netwalking events We offer walks of all grades - from gentle 5km country park rambles and city-centre guided tours through to long coastal walks and challenging 30km hikes across moorland and hills. Though we offer membership options for individuals and businesses, everyone is welcome to simply register for any walk and join our netwalking events on an ad-hoc basis. Introducing Walkshops Our walking workshops build upon our successful Rambles & Hikes formula, blending expert facilitation and coaching to help nurture and strengthen both individuals and teams. Working alongside a team of specialist associates we’ve devised modular options to address typical organisational challenges. Modules can be adapted or we can design fresh content to suit specific training and development objectives. Walkshops are also super flexible. They can be delivered entirely ‘on the move’ or within a hybrid format, seamlessly combining indoors and outdoors elements. They can be standalone half or full day events, a complementary series or even delivered as part of a working retreat or conference. We promise to make every learning experience enjoyable, memorable and highly effective.

I had the most wonderful time on my first ever Freshwalks event in Alderley Edge yesterday 🌳 They were a truly lovely bunch and it was so nice to get out in the fresh air, meet people IRL(!) and have a good old chin wag about all things business, travel and everything else in between! There's a few tickets left for my Freshwalks for women this Weds 6th November in Alderley Edge. And it's going to be 14 degrees and dry 😎☀️. It's a lovely opportunity to meet new people and enjoy nature. Yes, it's networking, but it just feels like fun to me. It's so different to most of the awkward networking events I've been too - I think nature and walking help everyone to relax and be themselves. (Re)Introducing Freshwalks business community netwalking events. Though private events season switches to off-peak mode in November after a record-breaking couple of months, our own business community events really ramp up in terms of frequency and popularity. My historical data suggests that Freshwalkers embrace Autumnal hues and Winter landscapes more than the allegedly drier, warmer months. November through March is also a time for reflection and redirection. Indeed, the most popular time of year for our resilient, spirited bunch to get outdoors. If you've not been for ages, break that bad habit and shake off any negative energy. If you've never been before, come step outside with us, you'll find a vibrant community ready to give you the warmest of welcomes in the months ahead. I'll be on most of them myself if you can tolerate this clear downside.
