Freshwalks creates closer business connections and promotes wellbeing to boost resilience, inspire creative thinking and bring balance to busy working lives. Rambles & Hikes - private & netwalking events We offer walks of all grades - from gentle 5km country park rambles and city-centre guided tours through to long coastal walks and challenging 30km hikes across moorland and hills. Though we offer membership options for individuals and businesses, everyone is welcome to simply register for any walk and join our netwalking events on an ad-hoc basis. Introducing Walkshops Our walking workshops build upon our successful Rambles & Hikes formula, blending expert facilitation and coaching to help nurture and strengthen both individuals and teams. Working alongside a team of specialist associates we’ve devised modular options to address typical organisational challenges. Modules can be adapted or we can design fresh content to suit specific training and development objectives. Walkshops are also super flexible. They can be delivered entirely ‘on the move’ or within a hybrid format, seamlessly combining indoors and outdoors elements. They can be standalone half or full day events, a complementary series or even delivered as part of a working retreat or conference. We promise to make every learning experience enjoyable, memorable and highly effective.

AUTUMN '24 Freshwalks programme is nearly complete including the return of our Sunrise series and some of our vintage routes like the Three Shires Adventure at the end of November. One or two more events yet to add but plenty here to go at as the seasons change and we swap beer gardens for log fires. Next up, we head to Disley next Friday and a cracking group of 20 has already assembled. You can still join them. I'll be leading all these events below except the Walks for Women series and look forward to welcoming new faces and returning friends in the months ahead. Registration link in comments. When we met for Freshwalks for women yesterday in New Mills the rain was torrential. I'm ok with rain - but when it's forecast to drown you for a two hour walk and it's cold as well, it's not my favourite conditions for a walk. Miraculously after 20 mins the skies cleared and gave us some beautiful weather! We had a good giggle on the walk and I enjoyed meeting loads of new people. For the first time ever, the Hospitality Hike experienced some terrible weather! But in our high-spirit fashion, we powered through, laughed at the hail stone smacking our ears and nearly getting blown off the side off a cliff. The pint at the end was certainly worth it! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined our Freshwalks 10th Anniversary #Netwalking event. It was fantastic to welcome back so many old faces, a healthy dose of first-timers and the inevitable regulars as we retraced our steps out of Glossop from late August 2014. Hopefully, with a vibrant autumn programme ahead of us, some of you won't leave it so long till next time. Our "classic hikes" return to Disley at the end of this month (Friday 27 September). At 15km, with only 450m of ascent, a cafe stop, picnic stop and two pub stops, this full day experience sits at the leisurely end of this series. There'll certainly be none of the bog-hopping antics of Bleaklow. Here's to the next 10 years...
