🆕 Digital technology will play a huge part in long-term small business growth and it's vital SMEs have the right support to adopt the tech they need. 💡The Department for Business and Trade's SME Digital Adoption Taskforce, which FSB's Ian O'Donnell MBE is part of, published its interim report. We outlined some key ideas on how to drive digital adoption for small firms, including: 🤖The Government should provide tailored support for small businesses through new technology and AI. 👨🏿💻 Understanding how small businesses use digital technologies so support can be tailored to suit them. 💷 Improving e-invoicing to allow small businesses to invest in the right technologies easily. We've been discussing the opportunities and challenges for increasing trade between UK small firms and the US with the UK's ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson.
