One of the questions we get asked the most is "Does FuelActive still work if the fuel is being agitated?" This is especially pertinent for industries such as #mining, #construction and #marine, where fuel tanks face the rigour of harsh ground conditions or swelling seas. For that reason, we used our tilt table to show that even in the event of the movement of fuel within the tank, the fuel sent to engine still remains up to 92% cleaner than a conventional fuel pick-up pipe.

Last week, Gallagher Group Ltd became the latest #aggregates company to install our innovative fuel pick-up system. Installed at their quarry in Maidstone, FuelActive was fitted on four Volvo Construction Equipment A60H/A45H #ADTs, all supplied by Volvo SMT GB. We're yet to find an installation challenge that our engineering team can't solve!    Within the #rail industry we've found that access to the fuel tank is restricted. Our FuelActive RA10 and RA16 fuel pick-up units can be assembled in situ, combining small sections that are fixed together. This modular approach allows for installation even in areas with constrained heights seen here on this Colas Rail UK Grinder. We're thrilled to be back on site with Bell Contracting as we extend our partnership and enhance their fleet's efficiency and performance!   Their latest investment in Wacker Neuson DW90 #dumpers is now even more fuel-efficient, thanks to the installation of FuelActive's cutting-edge fuel pick-up system.   We're proud to continue our collaboration with KW Bell, who last year committed to having FuelActive fitted across their entire #constructionequipment fleet.

Here's our Construction Sector Manager Matthew Hide to explain... 1️⃣ Reduced engine deposits: Cleaner fuel helps prevent the buildup of deposits in the engine, such as carbon deposits on fuel injectors or intake valves. These deposits can hinder the engine's performance and decrease fuel efficiency. By delivering cleaner fuel, the risk of such deposits is minimised, resulting in better fuel economy. 2️⃣ Improved combustion efficiency: Cleaner fuel with fewer impurities allows for a more efficient combustion process. This means that the fuel is burned more completely, maximising energy conversion and reducing wasted fuel. 3️⃣ Optimal engine performance: Clean fuel ensures that the engine operates at its best, as it is designed to run on high-quality fuel. When the engine is running smoothly and efficiently, it requires less fuel to generate the desired power output, leading to reduced fuel consumption. We continue the fleet roll-outs of FuelActive across #civilengineering companies. This time, we're heading north of the border to leading Scottish civils company Kilmac Ltd who have completed a fleet rollout across their HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe #excavators. After 6-months of breakdown-free operation Procurement Director Bert Hope cited a reduction in CO₂ emissions and fuel usage as to why he'd recommend FuelActive to companies running #construction machinery. As summer holidays beckon for many, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year so far. With an impressive 65% year-on-year growth achieved in H1, our team has been working tirelessly with a targeted sector approach, yielding remarkable results. From a fleet rollout with Exxaro Resources at #MafubeCoal to a distribution agreement with Caterpillar Distributor Neemba Group, #mining has been a catalyst for this year's growth. Building upon the great work already achieved along with participating in shows such as Investing in African Mining Indaba, FuelActive can now be found in some of the biggest machinery brands in the largest mines across the globe. In the #transportation and #rail sectors, FuelActive has reached new heights. A UK distribution agreement with Unipart Rail has unlocked some exciting opportunities whilst global companies such as Colas Rail UK have turned their trials into fleet rollouts thank to a 6.9% fuel and CO₂ emissions saving. The construction sector, an early adopter of FuelActive, continues to embrace our solutions. Our work with L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage continues as trials on their Bell Equipment UK ADT's have recorded some fantastic fuel saving data. We've also completed fleet rollouts on Bachy Soletanche #pilingrigs and #drillingrigs and now move onto their Volvo Penta hydraulic powerpacks. Our emerging sectors are gaining momentum as well. To further accelerate our efforts in the #energy and #marine sectors, we have welcomed Simon Miller to lead the charge. Simon will continue to strengthen the great relationships we've forged with the likes of #rentair, part of the Centurion Group and Atlas Copco. This is just a fraction of the tremendous work carried out by our talented and dedicated team this year.
