In the lead-up to 8th March, we proudly celebrated International Women's Day across our offices in Belfast and India with a series of inspiring events and meaningful conversations, all aimed at honouring the incredible women in our workforce and beyond. In Belfast, we hosted a delightful 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 where our ladies came together to share stories, connect, and celebrate their achievements. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and joy as we recognised the contributions of women in our company. These events, held across different days, are a testament to our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all our employees. We believe in the power of diversity and the importance of mental health awareness, and we are dedicated to empowering women in every aspect of their lives. 🎉 The official photos aren't out yet, but yet another #StockMarketChallenge has now officially ended 🎉 🏆 50+ students worked in teams to beat a stock market simulation, with 4 teams performing so well that they won a #WorkShadowing/ #CareerInsightDay either with one of our brilliant guest employers, or as part of our upcoming #WorkShadowingWeek2025, plus a nice gift voucher to spend however they want! 🚀 We're so grateful to our Guest Employers representatives who joined us, answered our questions in the #EmployerPanel, and even tried their hand at beating the stock market alongside our students: FinTrU, First Derivative, Funds-Axis Limited, Grant Thornton (NI) LLP. 🌟 An amazing effort by the Careers, Employability and Skills at Queen's University Belfast' #EmployerEngagement Team, who helped us secure a 'full house' for the Challenge, and the #MarketingAndComms Team, who supported the event promo, logistics, and media work! ✨ A final, massive thank you from myself and my event co-coordinator Becky Law to our #DeliveryPartners at solutionsim.net for making this possible year after year, and in particular to Liam Barnes, for joining us as game host on the night (and for all the work that came before!). ☄️ See you in 2026!

  • 𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂 The SEC has extended the compliance deadline for Rule 13f-2 and Form SHO by one year, pushing the first reporting deadline to 17th February, 2026 (for the January 2026 reporting period). 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆? The extension allows institutional investment managers more time to implement technical updates after final reporting standards were confirmed in December 2024 - right before the holiday season. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: ✅ Originally set for 2nd January, 2025, compliance is now pushed back. ✅ Initial Form SHO filings, due 14th February, 2025, now have a one-year extension. ✅ The delay aims to improve data accuracy and regulatory readiness. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁? The SEC remains committed to strengthening transparency around short selling activity. While the delay provides more time, compliance remains a priority.
