Congratulations to all the winners at Friday's The Courier Business Awards Gala! GS Group had a great time at the event and were honoured to present the Service Award to the winning business, The ESP Group.

GS Group are looking forward to the The Courier Business Awards tomorrow night! It will be a great event celebrating the achievements of local businesses, and we can't wait to meet more of the fantastic nominees. Good luck to everyone who has been shortlisted for tomorrow's awards ceremony, and feel free to come say hi to the team - you will find us at table number one!!

GS Group are the current kit sponsors for the Luncarty 2013 advanced team! The boys were really excited to get the new strips – new kit day is their favourite. They play in the advanced league of the Fife Soccer Sevens Development Association every Sunday in Dunfermline. Have fun, and good luck in the league!

The Scottish Solicitors are renewing their Primary Layer Professional Indemnity Insurance Policies by 1st November 2024, and Excess Layer Renewals are available on the open market. The Solicitors’ PII Renewal (Oct 1st) south of the border has wrapped up, with JMG Group reporting that the increased competition and capacity across the market is working in the law firms’ favour. Many firms have enjoyed fee income growth and decreasing risk in recent years, meaning that the premiums paid (relative to recent years’ fees) are falling considerably. JMG Group informed us that many insurers are running very competitive campaigns to retain their existing clients. It appears that the period of turbulence in the market is settling down and we can start to look forward to the long-term consistency that is attractive to the profession.
