With 60 years of customer focused experience, Gafoor stands as one of the longest established and reliable UK poultry processors and suppliers. Located in the region of Lancashire, the independently owned family business operates from a purpose built modern plant producing fresh-quality, just-in-time chicken for our valued customers. A large proportion of Gafoor chickens are grown on farms in the North West of England. Our contracted farms are optimizing performance through improvements in precision farming. The Gafoor chickens are transported to the processing plant by Red Tractor approved hauliers. On the 18th July, a team from Gafoor Ltd took part in the The Boparan Charitable Trust & Greggs Foundation Dragon Boat Race. 🛶 🐉 There were 13 teams in total and the race took place on the River Tyne on a lovely sunny afternoon. ☀️ Gafoor Ltd put together a team of colleagues from across the business and overall we came in 2nd place, just missing out on the top spot by one second! 😱 It was fantastic fun and everyone had a great time. More importantly, together we raised a whopping £𝟰𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 for the charity. Gafoor contributed £𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 not including other donations on the day. Thanks to everyone who took part, we have already signed up for 2025! 😁 #charity #supportingcharities #gafoor #poultryindustry
