We've been made aware of a new scam email targeting business owners! An email claiming to be from HMRC says that you have been randomly selected for a compliance check. This email copies HMRC styling and uses language that you would commonly associate with tax related issues so will appear convincing at first glance however, genuine emails from HMRC will not ask you for your financial information. We urge you not to click any links in the email or share your details. Emails can be forwarded to phishing@hmrc.gov.uk and deleted
