Yesterday, in the first Labour budget for 14 years, the Chancellor of the Exchequer outlined stability for business investment with the 100% annual investment allowance and 100% full expensing incentive set to stay. However, in an article for AccountingWEB.co.uk, Steven Bone highlights that changes are to come with plans to classify double-cab pickups (DCPUs) as ‘cars’, and the abolition of the furnished holiday lettings (FHLs) special tax treatment from April 2025. Last week we welcomed our 2024 #graduate cohort to the Group. It provided an opportunity for our junior talent to start building strong relationships across our Platforms right from the start of their #career🚀 The week kicked off in our #Manchester office with a really engaging welcome and introduction to all things Gateley by Rod Waldie, who spoke about the history of Gateley, our strategy for growth, our Platforms, the Gateley Team Spirit and our community groups👏 On Wednesday the graduates from across Gateley Legal, Gateley Legal NI, Gateley Capitus, Gateley Smithers Purslow , Adamson Jones part of Gateley and Symbiosis IP headed to Patterdale Hall in the Lake District for a three-day residential🌳🥾 The focus for the event was team building, growth mindset and understanding the Gateley Team Spirit. The group was supported by the early careers and the talent development teams plus the fantastic instructors at Patterdale Hall👏 Everyone who took part was absolutely fantastic, they threw themselves into the tasks, demonstrated a real can-do attitude, pushed themselves out of their comfort zone and supported and celebrated each other along the way. The final morning was spent either enjoying a stroll into Glenridding or a hike up a Wainwright fell for some amazing views of the lake🏞️ The week was brilliant with some really great memories made✨
