We welcome Lawrence Small who has joined Gatemore Capital Management as Partner and General Counsel. This addition bolsters the firm's legal, technical, and transactional capabilities and reflects our hands-on approach to investing. Larry joins Gatemore from Valence8 LLP, a boutique investment office, where he was a Partner and General Counsel and a member of the management committee, with responsibility for overseeing all legal aspects of the firm’s managed investment funds and advisory businesses. Prior to co-founding Valence8, Larry held a role as Partner and General Counsel for over 17 years at Cabot Square Capital LLP, where he was a member of the Operating and Investment Committees. Prior to that, he was at Clifford Chance LLP. Larry holds a BA in History from Brown University, an M.Litt in History from University of Cambridge, and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
