Earlier today, Mr. Raphael Maganga, CEO of TPSF, engaged in a constructive dialogue with Executive Director from the Gatsby Foundation Mr. Justin Highstead together with Country Director, Mr. Samweli Kilua, the aim of the discussion was to enhance the private sector landscape in Tanzania. The Gatsby team acknowledged TPSF's pivotal role in shaping and supporting the growth of this sector, emphasizing its significance for national development. The discussions explored the current state of Tanzania’s private sector, focusing on both its challenges and opportunities. Both organizations examined how these dynamics align with national priorities and strategies, particularly in relation to Vision 2050. A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to explore potential partnerships between TPSF and Gatsby. The parties expressed a particular interest in collaborating across critical sectors such as textiles, forestry, and agriculture, specifically in cotton production.
