New Action Plan To Combat Child Criminal Exploitation: Ministers from the Departments of Justice, Health, and Education have unveiled a comprehensive action plan to address Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) in Northern Ireland. The CCE Action Plan is a collaborative effort between government departments and agencies aimed at improving the response to the criminal exploitation of young people and integrating these measures into the existing child protection system. https://lnkd.in/e2HZXAeH

Major county lines drugs operation is shut down in Worcestershire A MAJOR county lines drugs operation that flooded Worcestershire with cocaine has been shut down. A group of ten men and women, whose drug dealing blighted the communities of Worcester and Malvern, were sentenced to more than 60 years at Worcester Crown Court on Monday October 7. The sentence followed an investigation by West Mercia Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit. The group, who ran the ‘H’ line, were the other half of the Kam line, a group of six men who were jailed for more than 40 years in February. https://lnkd.in/eRCgkazk

Inside months of county lines raids as 'relentless' West Midlands officers pick up teens, weapons and £200k: West Midlands Police has lifted the lid ten months into a major crackdown on county lines drug dealing. The force said on Oct 7 that they have arrested 130 and charged 119 people for county lines offences since the start of the year. The force set up a specialist taskforce in January to tackle the misery caused in communities and on the streets by county lines gangs. The intention was to rescue and safeguard vulnerable people and children who are exploited by Organised Crime Groups from across the country. https://lnkd.in/e8aSrtRv

The ‘violent’ Birmingham County Lines drug dealer who flooded town with cocaine and heroin: A county lines drugs operation involving a man from Birmingham flooding a market via a railway line has been busted. Amani Blagrove-Clarke, of Meadow Road, Quinton and Manvinder Gill, of no fixed abode were found to have been running a ‘prolific’ drugs operation across Loughborough. Gill was stopped by chance at Heathrow Airport for an unrelated matter last month after skipping his sentencing hearing almost a year ago. He initially provided false details. But upon removing his hood and face mask was recognised by the officer who arrested him on the spot for failing to appear at court for sentencing last November. 'Callous' crime gang who used children in county lines conspiracy jailed: A Liverpool crime gang used vulnerable teenagers to sell drugs in Cheshire, West Mercia and Scotland. James O’Keefe, 23, controlled multiple lines from his cell at HMP Risley, roping in children to carry out risky drug-running operations on his behalf. Kerry Russell, 39, and Ruby O’Keefe, 19, were also involved in the far-reaching drug network and the exploitation of children. Aylesbury man jailed for county line drugs conspiracy: A 20-year-old man has been jailed for over a year after ferrying class-A drugs between Aylesbury and Scotland and ‘cuckooing’ a vulnerable woman at her home. Tyrees Kuba-Ngoma, of Friarscroft Way in Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin at Aylesbury Crown Court last Tuesday, October 1. Police identified Kuba-Ngoma as being involved in a drug supply operation between Aylesbury and Scotland in 2022 and forced entry into a property on Lester Road in November of that year. https://lnkd.in/e-_NRAKz

Sleaford county lines drug dealer jailed for three years: Kieran Staff, 40, was arrested at an address in Dudley Street, West Bromwich, on June 11 after an investigation led by the Metropolitan Police. Lincoln Crown Court heard Staff was found to have an operational role running two "drugs lines" which were found at the address. Phil Howes, prosecuting, said analysis of the phones showed 15 different days between April and June where Class A drugs were advertised and movements between West Bromwich, Nottingham and Sleaford. #gamechanger #cce #countylines https://lnkd.in/ekGSRbCd
