Prioritise your most important conversations in #GoogleChat! 💬 All new activity from 🧵 threads that you don’t follow will no longer be highlighted in bold or appear at the top of your conversation list, helping to reduce distractions and allow you to focus on what matters. You will still be able to see all activity within an unfollowed thread but there will be no visual indication of new activity. Classify and protect your emails with data classification 🏷 labels – now available in #Gmail! ✉ Already available in 📁 #GoogleDrive, classification labels in Gmail enable you to categorise emails based on criteria, such as 🛡 sensitivity, ✅ status, 📄 document type and much more. They can be used to organise messages and apply policies, including #DataLossPrevention rules, to protect sensitive information. Gmail classification labels can be applied when composing or replying to a message on the 💻 web; support for viewing and creating labels on 📱 mobile will be coming in the future. Admins can create new Gmail classification labels or reuse existing Drive ones from the Label Manager in the #GoogleAdminPanel. They can also configure data protection rules to automatically apply classification labels to emails, block emails from being sent based on a label and more. Rolling out now in open beta. This change makes filtering data within your table more intuitive and efficient by displaying only the options applicable to the data type in each column. Tables in Sheets enable you to quickly transform an unorganised data range into a structured and formatted table automatically. These suggestions can help you control access to corporate data. The recommended new policies can be customised before being deployed, and will initially be deployed in Monitor Mode to review the impact they will have across the organisation.
