Looking for help with your organisation’s 🔐 #GoogleWorkspace security policies? Admins can now automatically see insights and recommendations relating to #ContextAwareAccess in the #GoogleAdminPanel. These suggestions can help you control access to corporate data. The recommended new policies can be customised before being deployed, and will initially be deployed in Monitor Mode to review the impact they will have across the organisation. A new visual density setting is coming to 💬 #GoogleChat, allowing you to customise your chat experience! Whether you prefer a more spacious layout or a compact view, you can tailor the look of your conversations to fit your style. The two layouts are: ↕️ Comfortable mode – the default setting which showcases Google Material Design 3 and most clearly differentiates message bubbles ↔ Compact mode – wider message bubbles which are all aligned to the same side of the page, and reduced padding in the conversation list and home Rolling out now. New #Gmail shortcuts on both 🌍 web and 📱 mobile will make it quicker and easier to leverage the ✍️ “Help me write” and 💅 “Polish” features when composing, proofreading or refining an email. ✉️ Available to ✨ Gemini ✨ users, “Help me write” and “Polish” can speed up the process of writing and responding to emails. The new shortcuts for activating them are: ✍️ Help me write: on web, a new shortcut appears in the body of empty emails. 💅 Polish: on web, press Ctrl / ⌥ Option + H or click on the shortcut to get a polished version of your email. The #GoogleWorkspace Policy API is now available in open beta, allowing you to programmatically audit your security settings and gain valuable 🔎 insights into your configurations for applications including #GoogleChat, Meet, Docs and many more! The Policy API is currently available as 📖 read-only. In future, you will be able to use the API to create, update and remove security settings in addition to managing data loss prevention (DLP) rules. Available now.
