Genesis was pleased to be invited to participate in the Floating Wind Deep Dive Event hosted by RWE in Stavanger. Our specialist Martha O Sullivan attended this engaging event that included discussions on the main environmental impact assessment (EIA) challenges compared to fixed floating wind and a number of presentations on the planning, design and construction of floating offshore wind. The highlight of the event was a site visit to RWE's TetraSpar Demonstrator 3.6 MW turbine. The turbine is located c. 10 km offshore in a water depth of 200 m.
