Geovent A/S introduces a new mobile extraction unit - GeoGo Black W3!   We are pleased to present our latest addition, GeoGo Black W3 - a mobile extraction unit that ensures safety and flexibility in workplaces that require efficient handling of welding fumes, grinding dust, and more.   With a built-in filter system consisting of a pre-filter (spark arrestor) and a main filter, the GeoGo Black W3 achieves a filtration efficiency of at least 99%. It is IFA-approved in Germany according to the W3 standard, making it suitable for welding both black and stainless steel in Germany.   The GeoGo Black W3 is housed in durable, powder-coated steel cabinet, ensuring long durability and minimal maintenance. For welding applications requiring additional protection against substances like VOC’s, optional activated carbon filters are available. Additionally, an automatic start/stop function can be included, enabling the GeoGo Black W3 to automatically activate when connected equipment, such as a welding machine, is in use. What else do you get with GeoGo Black W3?   User-friendly design: Digital control panel with features such as LED indicators for operation, clogged filter alarm and filter replacement. It also includes buttons for turning the extraction on and off, as well as a display for data such as operating hours.   Efficient and quiet operation: The built-in 1.1 kW fan is powered by a 230 V motor. Tobias starts as an intern at Geovent A/S!   At Geovent, we are happy to welcome Tobias as our newest intern. Tobias is currently studying Marketing Management at Dania Business Academy in Viborg and during his internship he will be working in our marketing department.   At Geovent, we are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth. Among other things, we place great emphasis on creating opportunities for young people through internships and training programmes so that they can get a good start in the labour market.   Tobias is already putting his passion for marketing to work for us. He arrives at an exciting time as Geovent has introduced a new strategy that Tobias will help implement through his latest knowledge from Dania Business Academy.   In his own words, Tobias explains: “I am incredibly happy to be a part of Geovent. Geovent A/S kick-starts 2025 with a new strategy and new goals for the future! Last week, we gathered our dedicated employees from Denmark, Germany, England and Spain to present Geovent's new strategy and goals for the coming years.   With a focus on growth and development, we strive to continue to deliver a high level of service, and we will develop products, systems and digital solutions that will make it even more interesting to be a loyal customer with us. At the same time, we will strengthen our organisation based on our core values: Value Creation, Community, Credibility and Responsibility. This also includes ESG, which we will continue to work with.   As an important part of the strategy, we have established a new leadership team to ensure that we reach our goals. Efficient and user-friendly extraction solution for the Brennberg fire station!   Geovent has delivered a customised extraction solution for the Brennberg fire station, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for firefighters. The system protects personnel from harmful diesel exhaust fumes and ensures efficient removal of pollutants directly from vehicle exhaust pipes. A key feature of the solution is the automatic disconnection from the emergency vehicle when it leaves the fire station, so no time is wasted.   A solution with details and clear benefits:   MRSP-extraction system: The horizontally controllable system is equipped with an electromagnetic coupling and automatic disconnection for easy and safe handling. The hoses have a length of up to 6 metres and can withstand temperatures up to 300°C, making the system ideal for vehicles with different exhaust designs.   Ventilation: The Geovent MSFG-250-3 fan handles up to three suctions simultaneously with a capacity of 3,000 m³/h at 1,750 Pa. ATEX - Safety and efficiency in explosive environments   When it comes to protecting employees and ensuring a safe working environment in industry, the ATEX directive is indispensable. This EU directive (2014/34/EU) sets clear guidelines for handling explosive atmospheres and ensures common standards across EU countries.   What is ATEX and why is it important?   Explosive environments can occur where flammable gases, vapours or dust are present, for example in chemical and pharmaceutical production, automotive workshops, food production, woodworking and other dust-intensive processes. Whether the extraction or ventilation solution complies with the ATEX directive is crucial for minimising the risk of explosion and subsequent personal injury and damage to machinery, buildings, etc.   It is the responsibility of each company to define the risk level and classify the ATEX zones based on the conditions both outside and inside the extraction system. A green chapter added on the roof of our new assembly hall! ☀️   We recently moved into our new assembly hall - an exciting step for Geovent! But the building wasn't quite finished yet. On the roof we were planning an important green initiative: the installation of our new solar panels!   Together for green energy: With support from the EU EEnergy programme (SMP-COSME-2023-EENEE) and a strong collaboration with StillingSolceller and SolarBalance ApS, we have taken a concrete step towards providing green energy for our production.   The investment in solar panels is central to our sustainability journey. That's why UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 on responsible consumption and production is also an important part of our strategy. Not least in an industry where environmental impact is often a challenge. We want to grow responsibly - while minimising our climate footprint in relation to our level of activity.   🔋Facts about the new solar plant 192 solar panels: The plant can produce approximately 100,000 kWh per year. Energy storage: The system includes six batteries of 14 kWh each.
