Today, we are proud to announce that our next-generation donor kidney preservation system, KidneyVault, has received 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The KidneyVault System is Paragonix's first-ever perfusion device, integrating streamlined digital monitoring capabilities with portable hypothermic perfusion technology to protect donor kidneys during transport and expand the donor pool. This novel combination of advanced technologies, the first of its kind in kidney transplant, further reinforces our company's ongoing commitment to improve and redefine the standard of care in transplant medicine. This incredible milestone marks Paragonix as the only company with U.S. regulatory clearances for all five solid organs used in transplant procedures. Yesterday, we welcomed a Ukrainian delegation, consisting of the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiology Center, the Military Hospital, and the Municipality of Kryvyi Rih. This visit was part of their several-day trip to Sweden aimed at Rebuilding Ukraine's Medical Infrastructure. During the visit, the Ukrainian representatives gained knowledge and valuable insights into Getinge’s full range of products and services within Acute Care Therapies and Surgical Workflows, most of which were showcased and demonstrated to the delegation. We also showed our product process, toured the R&D center and engaged in fruitful discussions and exchanges of ideas regarding the current situation in Ukraine, its needs and further product development. We all play an important role to help the Ukrainian population and I feel very proud of hosting this visit together with Szymon Kawalko Ph.D. and Daniel Mannestig. #passionforlife
