Creating vibrant and connected urban neighbourhoods that are fit for the future.

About us

Get Living is the UK’s leading build-to-rent operator, developer and investor, managing 4,000 homes across three neighbourhoods in London and Manchester with a further 6,500 in the pipeline across the UK. We started out at East Village, the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village in Stratford, which we launched in 2013 with the aim to shake-up the private rental sector and offer a better way of renting. We create sustainable, vibrant communities that build belonging, nurture togetherness, and create opportunity. We’re growing across the UK, developing new neighbourhoods in Lewisham, Maidenhead, Birmingham, Leatherhead and Leeds and are looking for people to join our team who share our vision of making renting better for all. 0203 701 7900

Last week we marked the launch of our new London neighbourhood, The Filigree, in style on the rooftop terraces. Colleagues, partners and local stakeholders gathered in the the stunning penthouse apartments to celebrate, with unparalleled views spanning the city. Just steps away from Lewisham station, the Filigree offers 649 new homes, of which 106 are affordable, alongside landscaped public realm and 88,000 sq ft of commercial space for new retailers and leisure operators. With high demand for new, professionally managed rental homes, our first residents are already settled in and the new community is growing fast. The Filigree is part of the transformational Lewisham Gateway project, one of the largest regeneration schemes in South East London, led by Muse in collaboration with the London Borough of Lewisham, the Mayor of London and Transport for London, supported by Homes England. Earlier today we enjoyed a study tour with Get Living and heard from Allies and Morrison Gardiner & Theobald LLP about one of the London's major regeneration projects, Elephant and Castle Town Centre. Many thanks to Multiplex and Delancey for facilitating this fascinating visit! Set to complete in 2026, the project will deliver 500 homes for rent, restaurants, cultural spaces, 55,000 sq ft of workspace, and a state-of-the-art University of the Arts London campus. The public realm will be transformed with three new streets, a central public square, and extensive landscaping. The development also includes major public transport upgrades, including a new Northern Line entrance with escalator and lift access and designed to enable a potential future #BakerlooLine extension.

The Elephant has officially topped out! 🎉 On Monday, we were joined by partners, stakeholders and guests to celebrate the topping out of the new UAL College of Communication campus, with incredible views across the city. Marked with speeches from Get Living CEO Rick de Blaby, Delancey Development Director Richard Palmer, UAL Vice-Chancellor Karen Stanton, Head of London College of Communication Professor Kene Igweonu, Mayor of Southwark, Naima Ali and Cllr Martin Seaton, the event marked the completion of the highest point of the building, an important milestone as we head towards the launch of the scheme. When it opens, the cutting edge new campus will be home to over 5,000 students and over 500 staff, supporting the next generation of future-facing creatives. Having been based in the area since 1962, London College of Communication has a proven track record of bringing educational, cultural, and economic benefits to the local area and we were delighted to be joined by several alumni who studied at LCC when the original building opened 60 years ago. The Elephant is set to completely transform the heart of Elephant & Castle. With new homes, shops, restaurants and leisure space on track to open in 2026, followed by the opening of the new LCC campus shortly after in 2027, it's full steam ahead for Multiplex on site! #TheElephant #ElephantandCastle #Regeneration #Urbantransformation #ToppingOut

Last week we officially launched the Sky Home at our new neighbourhood, The Filigree, Lewisham. The stunning 1,432 sq ft penthouse on the 26th floor features talent from over 100 local artists, makers and designers in collaboration with SHAPESLewisham, and we invited local stakeholders, influencers and our new residents to come and experience the exclusive showcase and meet the makers. The space features immersive digital installations, hand woven blankets, wooden sculpted side tables, recycled lampshades and hand-printed textiles, alongside work from local painters, illustrators, sign makers, florists, candle makers, and perfumeries. With residents set to move into The Filigree’s 649 homes over the coming months, the penthouse also doubles as an immersive, interactive and shoppable gallery space in which people can purchase directly from artists; raising the visibility of their work, supporting local businesses and encouraging future collaborations. #TheFiligree #Lewishamcreativetalent #Buildtorent #SHAPESLewisahm

We had a great time hosting the Urban Elephant Festival in Castle Square, welcoming over 5,000 people from the Elephant & Castle community and beyond. The festival saw a unique blend of circus, theatre, wellness activities, and dance performances. We also launched our brand new Elephant & Castle Community Hub which will play host to an exciting calendar of community activities throughout the year. #CastleSquare #ElephantandCastle #GetLiving
