Last week, our team in Oleśnica, Poland - in collaboration with the local Mayor and Primary School No. 3 - sponsored a unique initiative, aimed at providing local school children with a valuable insight into the lives of other children around the world to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and the importance of diversity. Led by photographer Elżbieta Dzikowska, a large format exhibition titled 'Children of the World' offered a glimpse into the lives of children from diverse cultures across Asia, Africa and Latin America, captured in a series of 100 large-format photographs. Complementing the exhibition, an art competition titled 'My Friend from a Distant World' encouraged the local children, aged 6 to 15, to creatively express their ideas about global friendship and cultural connection through their own art. Last week, our team in Bowling Green, Ohio, took part in Bowling Green Middle School's Manufacturing Day event, putting on interactive sessions designed to introduce students to the range of career opportunities available in modern manufacturing, while highlighting job opportunities in the local community. Initiatives such as these are essential for successful talent development, inspiring students to consider careers in #STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths). In response to the recent torrential rains and flooding in Poland, our team in Oleśnica has volunteered to provide aid to the communities affected. We are incredibly proud of our volunteers who, alongside local residents, participated in a coordinated relief trip to Lądek-Zdrój.   Together, the team has been helping to clean houses, clear debris, and deliver gifts collected from our employees. Significant progress has been made and, while there’s still much work to be done, our collective commitment to support local communities remains strong. Thank you to all in the Oleśnica team who continue to support these efforts.
