GM Projects (Scotland) Ltd are very excited to get under way with a 24,000 sq ft CAT B fit-out of the 3rd floor at this prominent Edinburgh city centre location.    It is great to be working again with the team of PMP, 56three and Wallace Whittle. On this project we are attempting to re-home as many elements as we can from the existing fit-out. As well as some light fittings and under desk power supplies being repurposed to another fit-out currently ongoing within the same building there is a plan in place to re-home both carpet and ceiling tiles. If there is any interest in the remaining portion of this pre-loved but high-quality carpet then please contact richard.gibson@gmp-ltd.co.uk Along with commencing another floor at Sutherland House, a new project in East Kilbride as well as continuing with a fit-out at South Gyle and a new build retail project in Coatbridge it is a very busy start to the month! It's crane day for GM Projects (Scotland) Ltd down at Meridian Court, Glasgow. The steelwork is being lifted and installed to the roof as part of the ongoing works to fill in the atrium void throughout this seven story building adding several thousand square feet of additional floor space. GM Projects (Scotland) Ltd are thrilled to unveil the end result of our project for CalaHomes East Ltd. Working with Innes Building Consultancy, Graven, DSSR and Cala East’s staff in delivering their vision for a new, modern, vibrant office. Upon being selected as preferred contractor we worked alongside the client team to deliver a project that has combined the highest standards in quality with a real focus on sustainability, allowing Cala to provide their staff with a best in class workplace which includes a fully fitted fitness studio, shower and changing facilities, wellness room, amphitheatre, training room and garden room linking their interior to the outside amenity space. With a focus on reducing waste and embodied carbon, the MEP design reused existing equipment and services where possible. As part of this focus we were delighted to work alongside the team in finding a new home for Cala's existing furniture at Vision PK’s new Perth Office. All the above was carried out whilst Cala remained in occupation during the works and meant a phased approach to delivery. We can’t thank the staff at Cala East enough for their co-operation and help during this process which resulted in a seamless transition from old to new. It really was a pleasure working alongside the talented delivery and design team and we can only thank them for selecting GM Projects (Scotland) Ltd to bring this amazing vision to life and allowing us to deliver a truly special project.
