Brands regularly don't resonate with audiences, even those with a strong social purpose. We often need help. That's where the likes of Marc Lawrence step in and literally help breath life into a vision. Art is at the core of who we are at a human level, so we invested in art. Huge thanks also go to Dave Officer (Gobby logo design) and Arti Patel (Gobby explainer video).
The Motion and Edit Freelancer for Ad and Marketing Teams • Peace of mind for creative leads 💪🏽 • Animation • Content Creation • DOOH • Events • Sizzles • TVC • Social.
Onboarding a new freelance motion designer into your marketing team shouldn’t be a complicated mess. When you’re busier than a giraffe on ice you don’t want ANOTHER process that saps the living daylights outta ya. Here’s how a recent marketing lead turned into a client after they contacted me for a simple logo animation. 👉🏽Invoice settled 👉🏽Storyboard delivered (nobody likes surprises) 👉🏽Short video call for storyboard feedback 👉🏽Animation ✨shizazzle✨ time 👉🏽Delivered to team Admittedly, the REALLY fun stuff comes when I get my doity hands on the animation. A bit like this bobby dazzler I created for Gobby last year 👇🏽 🥰 And when I’ve delivered peace of mind as well as work that delights, the bigger projects are just round the corner (another post for another day). Easy peasy, right?

Be wary of 'synthetic data' and #AI 'insight' Instead, use technology to approach people as subject matter experts. Those with #livedexperiences, those that have done the hard miles. #Coproduction and people-driven research is the future. Let's train the machines well.
Are we missing a key part of the process with AI? This clip from the brilliant Rory Sutherland is well worth a minute of your time. Rory makes the point that by skipping to the output, we're missing the value of the process. Whether it's writing a report, generating insights or bringing data to life with storytelling and visualisation, the creative process you go through plays a key part in the end product. The destination is judged by the journey 🎯

Very interesting and very necessary conversations happening 👇
Hi there, Isaac here from Curators of Change! 🌟 We’re thrilled to invite you to a unique opportunity to help shape the future of adult social care by joining our upcoming workshop on 12th November 2024. If you’re involved in managing, commissioning, or providing social care services, this session is designed for you! 🌍 What’s This Workshop All About? This workshop is dedicated to exploring workforce priorities in adult social care. Our goal is to hear directly from leaders, managers, commissioners, and service providers about what matters most when it comes to supporting and developing the social care workforce. We’ll focus on collaboratively creating "I" and "We" statements, capturing what the workforce—and those they support—need in order to thrive. Together, we'll explore: What priorities should guide workforce development? How do these priorities help ensure the right support and care? How can we make these priorities practical and actionable? 👥 Who Should Attend? If you’re in a management or leadership role, a commissioner, or a service provider within adult social care, we’d love your insights! This includes: Managers and Leaders responsible for daily operations and workforce development in adult social care Commissioners and Providers, including anyone overseeing direct payments, managing personal assistants, or supporting family carers 🔍 What to Expect This online workshop will run for around two hours on Zoom. We’ll use breakout rooms for smaller discussions, ensuring everyone has a chance to contribute. If you have extra questions or want to stay and chat further, we’ll be around at the end to continue the conversation. Workshop dates and registration links: 12th November – Register here 13th November – Register here 5th December – Register here 📝 Background on Workforce Priorities and the "I/We" Statements Curators of Change, in collaboration with ADASS, LGA, and Skills for Care, is working to co-produce a set of workforce priorities based on the new Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care in England. These priorities include: Strategic Workforce Planning Growing and Developing the Workforce Enhancing Technology Use Improving Workforce Wellbeing Building Social Justice Fostering Inclusive Leadership We’re excited to bring together diverse voices to ensure that these priorities reflect the real needs of the workforce and the people they support. 🎉 The more perspectives we have, the more impactful these I/We statements will be. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at hello@curatorsofchange.com. Looking forward to co-creating a better future in social care with you! Having tried a few alternatives I've made the move to Bluesky from the bird site and can highly recommend. It's growing slowly but seems a much friendlier, more positive and less troll-infested space. One of the ways to find people is through 'starter packs' - you can follow the whole lot or individuals. I've created one for people and orgs working or interested in #PublicInvolvement (#PPI #PPIE) #ParticipatoryResearch and #Coproduction in health and care: https://lnkd.in/gE226y_N It's getting added to all the time as more people join/find it. If you're on Bluesky and would like to be included just message me on there and I'll add you.
