We're excited to share highlights from our recent #VR tracheostomy and emergency front-of-neck access course at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust 🎉 In just under 2 hours, 20 dedicated healthcare professionals immersed themselves in state-of-the-art training, honing critical skills in a simulated high-pressure environment. Yesterday, we unveiled an exclusive sneak peek into #AVA – our AI-powered conversational training tool designed to foster better discussions around violence and abuse against women and girls. We showcased a custom kiosk, brilliantly created by the talented #FabLab team at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and were delighted to have members of the AI development team from Goggleminds join us for the event. A huge thank you to Dr Mabrouka Abuhmida for her invaluable support and for the significant contributions she is making to ensure AI development is more equitable, ethical and safe. Many thanks also goes to Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government for sponsoring the event. We were delighted to join the Strategic Investment Board in Belfast yesterday alongside the fantastic #EVAWG team from The Northern Ireland Executive Office. It was great to share our progress on our proof of concept and receive valuable feedback. What’s most exciting is the positive impact our work will have on ending violence against women and girls. We can’t wait to share the next update as #AVA takes shape.
