The first of many loads of large rectangular duck work, made by our workshop team to a tight deadline, being lifted onto the roof at CamLife Capital Park in Cambridge. Unfortunately, the photo does not do the scale justice! It's not only large-scale ductwork projects that we can assist with; from single duct pieces to BBQ's, if you can think of it we can probably fabricate it!

Nearly 600kWp of photovoltaic panels, 1366 in total, have been installed by Gowing and Hunt Ltd over thirteen schools for Anglian Learning. The project also included all associated electrical works and upgrades as well as roof safety systems. A collaboration between the Trust, individual schools and Gowing and Hunt Ltd meant that the project ran smoothly and was completed to a high standard, on time and on budget. An impressive feat, well done to everyone involved.

We know what you are probably thinking; that’s a small person by those perfectly manufactured pieces of ductwork. Well, you’d be wrong (About the person – not the ductwork). Lewis is very proud of the largest pieces of ductwork that he has manufactured to date. Gowing and Hunt Ltd are excited to be working with DPL Group Ltd on one of their RAF Lakenheath projects. It’s a very interesting project working with a great company. Although, do you have a larger ductwork project to steal DPL’s crown?

Gowing and Hunt Ltd wish to thank Richard Heyes and Tony Brixey of Kier Construction for attending our office today and running their new Health & Safety Initiative, Think Safety Differently. A cross-section of site operatives attended and all of them were positive about this different approach to Health and Safety. Whilst vast improvements have been made in our industry regarding Health and Safety hopefully together we can all raise the bar even higher.
