Some really fantastic resources here for students and graduates...
It’s World Mental Health Day today with this year’s theme being mental health at work. Mental health is a key issue for students and graduates – from our recent Early Careers Survey, 48% of participants stated that that taking care of their mental health was the biggest challenge for them the past year. This highlights the critical need for universities and graduate employers to provide mental health support during this pivotal stage. To help with this, we’ve curated some key Luminate articles that provide insights and guidance around mental health and wellbeing during the early careers stage: ➡️Helping graduates to mentally prepare for the job hunt https://bit.ly/4dKN9uq ➡️Supporting graduate wellbeing in their transition to employment https://bit.ly/3BCbFRb ➡️Employers should foster graduates' emotional intelligence https://bit.ly/3Nj7LiD ➡️Empowering creative students to have positive workplace wellbeing https://bit.ly/3YXAWyQ ➡️How can recruiters ease early talent cost of living concerns? https://bit.ly/4h21OEz #WMHD #MentalHealth #Wellbeing #CareersSupport

The #GraduateOutcomes survey asks graduates how they feel about their current situation and general wellbeing. So here’s a fitting statistic to share on #WMHD2024 about the class of 2021/22! Why do we ask this? We want to understand wellbeing in the graduate population. This question is rigorously tested and used by Office for National Statistics across several of their social surveys. Your responses are anonymised and used for national statistics purposes. Learn more on our blog: https://bit.ly/47Sq5IR Mental Health Foundation
