🔓 Unlock the hidden value in your legacy systems! Many companies grapple with complex hierarchies, operational inefficiencies, and outdated tech that hinder growth and digital transformation. We, at Graphit, have been at the forefront of #AICopilots implementation, witnessing how they help businesses turn untapped legacy data, like old transaction records, into valuable insights. It’s about making the most of what you already have to build a smarter, more agile future! 🚀 #AICopilots #GenerativeAI #BigData #EnterpriseAI #LegacySystems #DataStrategy #MultimodalRAG #BusinessGrowth #LLM #Graphit #InnovateRedefineTransform

While working with different companies across industries (finance, insurance, retail, logistics, etc.), the common challenge becomes apparent - medium & large companies are not agile. They struggle to simplify hierarchies, they struggle to streamline operations making them leaner, and they struggle to effectively adapt their legacy systems preventing any further digitalisation and scalability. Hence, unlocking the power of #AICopilots is a simple yet disruptive step that corporations can make to start changing this! At Graphit, we’ve seen firsthand how businesses often struggle with legacy systems and archaic data formats that aren’t even fully digitised. Yet, the value locked within these formats is immense. For instance - historical transactions records in retail, credit histories and compliance records in banking, old shipments and transportation logs in logistics - these are all examples of vital decision-making data that we saw not being leveraged by corporations. This is where #AICopilots - especially those leveraging Multimodal Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) - can help businesses transform this historical data into a powerful resource that could be leveraged to boost both top & bottom line. Even with a mix of scanned documents, handwritten notes, and paper-based archives, #AICopilots can bridge the gap. By simply asking a question in natural language, users can retrieve insights from across multiple data formats. Imagine a system that reads an old handwritten memo, compares it with a digital spreadsheet, and delivers a cohesive answer to your business query - effortlessly. This capability not only democratises data access but also helps legacy companies preserve their institutional knowledge while positioning themselves for digital transformation. At Graphit, we specialise in bridging this gap between value and legacy systems through solutions that unlock these possibilities, ensuring that even the most archaic data formats are not left behind. The future of business intelligence isn’t just about having the coolest new tools - it’s about making sure they are utilised effectively to extract value from what you already have. #AICopilots #EnterpriseAI #BigData #LegacyData #BusinessGrowth #NextGenAITransformation #InnovateRedefineTransform #Graphit

GenAI & Big Data for Dynamic Innovation | Global MSc Management at LSE | MBA Exchange at Yale SOM

I've recently stumbled upon an interesting Q&A session between Stanford University Department of Management Science & Engineering students and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt discussing 'The Future of AI' in the context of technological progress and its wider business implications. The video of the session has been since removed (apparently opinions also have to be 'under review' these days 🤔). Nevertheless, I was able to watch most of it and some of the points made by Eric resonated a lot with what we see happening within the AI space. Hence, I wanted to share my key takeaways from his guest lecture: 1. AI co-pilots and text-to-action agents will have an unprecedented impact on the world of business and technology in the next year and beyond. 2. Due to unmatched financial capital required to launch and expand large scale models, open-source vs closed-source innovation debate is taking a new shape, which might shift the nature of competition between companies. 3. Giant corporations are slow in leading the progress, which is why agility, hard work and entrepreneurial drive foster iterations and enable startup founders to lead the innovation curve. 4. OpenAI and Microsoft partnership proved that if large corporates want to keep leading innovation and pushing its boundaries, outsourcing this specialist expertise to smaller teams outside accelerates this change process and fosters technological advances. At Graphit we support the iterations and agility ethos shared by Eric Schmidt, and are certain that implementation of AI solutions and adoption of agents is in its nascent phase, with vast untapped potential awaiting to be unlocked as industries begin to fully explore and integrate such capabilities. With our niche specialist expertise in custom agents development we are eager to be at the forefront of their emergence and diffusion across industries and geographies.

If you are a strong engineer, want to start a company and don't have a product idea, start a service business. I was recently looking through the Greylock Call for Startups (https://lnkd.in/eG5kgRzH), and one thing caught my attention. One of the "big opportunities" they've highlighted is building a "software engineering services company that operates with higher margins by using internal AI tools". It feels like a great opportunity. I think we will see a wave of service providers who will scale at an incredible pace by being the first to adopt co-pilots and LLM pair programming in the right way. I bet there will be at least a few “services unicorns” with VC-scale returns and growth rates. I recently completed a fairly significant project (that would have otherwise taken me a week) in less than a day by doing an intensive pair programming session with Claude. It is surely not ideal – it messes up logic in unexpected ways. It introduces hard-to-find bugs, but learning to manage that and offload more boilerplate coding to LLMs while ensuring consistent quality seems like an outstanding opportunity.

The concept of Explainable AI (XAI) is becoming increasingly important as AI technologies play a more integral role in critical decision-making . XAI aims to make the operations of AI systems more transparent, enabling users to understand and trust the logic behind AI-generated outcomes. This transparency is particularly crucial in high-stakes fields such as healthcare, finance, and legal services, where decisions can have profound implications. Y Combinator, known for pioneering technologies, has identified Explainable AI as a key area of focus. This highlights the growing acknowledgment within the tech community of the importance of developing AI systems that are not just powerful but also understandable and accountable. As automation expands, the ability to merge human expertise with AI's analytical capabilities offers a distinct competitive edge allowing more nuanced and impactful decisions, while ensuring that human judgment remains priority. Utilising key strength of technology and of human judgement at the same time. To discover more about how Explainable AI is shaping the future of technology and decision-making, feel free to get in touch. #ExplainableAI #DataDrivenDecisionMaking #genai #genaitrends
