Last week myself, Kevin Burke & Jo Callaghan toured our UK offices to officially launch Gravitas Services to our fellow Gravitonians. In retrospect, it would have been better to avoid doing the roadshow on halloween but, even with my low effort costume, the response was phenomenal and we've already had some great meetings off the back of it! I think for any company its traditions are important! Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd have hosted an annual staff boat party Friday out of the office to say thank you to our staff for their hard work for the last 10yrs and we were not going to let a tough recruitment market effect this. In fact, I think in this market where almost all recruiters are working harder for less deals it’s even more important to take time to thank your staff for their hard work! Our group CEO Kurt Schreurs– timed his latest Asia trip perfectly to make a guest appearance and last Friday we set sail on the Orca boat for a day of fancy dress (Early Halloween was the chosen theme), swimming, Mahjong, Card games, food & drink and music. Everyone had a great day – relaxing and enjoying each other’s company – with work talk kept very much to a minimum. A big thank you to our exceptional staff for their unwavering commitment during these demanding times.
