🌟 #BlackWomanInTech Spotlight: Alcia Loach 🌟 Born in the 70s in Jamaica, Alcia's journey into tech wasn’t the one she originally dreamed of. As a young girl with aspirations of becoming a doctor, life took an unexpected turn when her allergies made working in biochemistry labs impossible. Instead, she found herself in the world of Computer Science — a field that perfectly matched her logical, process-driven mind. Passionate about helping others, Alcia created Pocket Angel Assist, an app supporting people experiencing homelessness during COVID-19, proving that tech can be a force for good. Her journey is a testament to resilience and innovation, showing us all that you can become an expert, no matter where you start. 💻✨ 📚 Want to read more about Alicia Loach’s inspiring journey and other incredible #BlackWomenInTech?
