We are delighted to announce that Guttercrest’s Aluminium Rainwater Products feature on this stunning property, which has just been crowned Northern Ireland’s House of the Year 2024. The recently renovated Melmore House in Holywood, County Down, won the coveted title during a six-part BBC series hosted by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen. Through a partnership with JP Corry, Guttercrest manufactured and supplied Moulded Ogee Gutters, traditional downpipes and hopper heads – all polyester powder coated in our black heritage finish. The heritage coating has a textured result, which replicates the look of traditional cast iron but with the added benefit of being lightweight, sustainable and low maintenance – aligning perfectly with the ethos of this sympathetic renovation.

Guttercrest landed pole position with its aluminium rainwater goods at the Mercedes AMG Formula One headquarters. Square downpipes and fabricated hoppers were designed and manufactured for the state-of-the-art technology campus at Brixworth - where more than 700 talented people work on engines and powertrains for Formula One and high-performance hybrid road cars. The bespoke hoppers were designed to specified measurements and supplied alongside contemporary square downpipes.   All products, which were produced at Guttercrest’s 300,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, have been polyester powder coated in RAL 9006 matt to match the external colour of the industrial unit. The owners of this beautiful detached cottage have recently replaced their gutters and downpipes with Guttercrest’s Aluminium products. To create a look that ties in with the home’s period style, the homeowners chose moulded ogee gutters, rectangular hoppers and traditional round downpipes, all finished in Jet Black to complement the redbrick work.
