We’re pleased to announce we’re partnering with the team at 🏠 Window Insulation Ltd. 🏢 as part of the Lambeth Net Zero Innovation Challenge – a fully funded programme between London Borough of Lambeth and Sustainable Ventures to match up innovators with established organisations in Lambeth to help their sustainability objectives. The partnership will start with a 12-week trial as we work with Window Insulation to see how their tech can make our residential buildings warmer, drier and more efficient. Together, we’ll be taking part in a number of workshops over the next three months facilitated by Sustainable Ventures to support the partnership and our joint objectives. #InnovationChallenge #Sustainbility
A great way to wrap up the week as we announce the eight incredible partnerships that will be moving forward in the Lambeth Net Zero Innovation Challenge! A huge thank you to everyone that took part in the pitch day - we received amazing feedback on all the entrepreneurs who got involved. Thanks also to London Borough of Lambeth for funding these programmes to speed up our journey towards #netzero. We now enter the collaboration phase, with the businesses and innovators from each new partnership coming together to explore solutions to their net zero challenges. We’d like to see a high street where fresh, locally sourced veg is the cheaper option! Great to see this video from The Food Foundation ‘Nourishing the Nation: A shared vision of a brighter future, imagining how a better food system could benefit citizens and the planet.’ As an endowment, we’re proud to be part of the Investor Coalition on Food Policy – which is led by The Food Foundation. The coalition exists to harness the power of the investment community to engage with the government on food system related issues. As we head towards a General Election, the charity is calling for policymakers to take decisive action to reshape the food system so everyone, regardless of income or background, can eat nourishing food that promotes health and wellbeing for people and the planet. Building the foundations of a healthier society means healthy, nourishing food is accessible to everyone, and that’s the kind of change we want to be a part of. #NourishingTheNation #MyFoodVision
📽 Hundreds of people have already watched our video Nourishing the Nation: A shared vision of a brighter future which we launched today! With a #generalelection coming this year now is the perfect time to encourage our MPs and policymakers to take decisive action to improve our food system. What's the one thing you'd like to see change? More here: ➡ https://lnkd.in/eBweyqzK #NourishingTheNation #MyFoodVision
