The sun is setting on the final day of The London Book Fair, and 2025 has been a good one. Our Rights, Sales and Editorial colleagues have been hard at work, taking meetings to get our books into the hands of even more readers across the world. We’ve had Hachette UK colleagues featured on panels, sharing their knowledge on all things publishing, from the impact of AI and importance of advocacy, to the ever-changing landscape of audiobooks, BookTok, and the trends that are shaping the future of the industry. We even had our HR team at the careers clinic, who shared their advice with publishing hopefuls, with the aim to demystify the recruitment process. We’re thrilled to be rounding off the Fair by sending all of the books on our stand to our incredible charity partner, The Book Trade Charity. See you all again next year! #LBF25 #LondonBookFair #ChangingTheStory #Publishing #Books

“There’s nothing more satisfying than converting someone to reading”, David Shelley, CEO of Hachette UK and Hachette Book Group. The first day of The London Book Fair is in full swing and David joined James Daunt, MD of Waterstones and CEO at Barnes and Noble Official, at the Fair’s Main Stage to chat all about what it’s like to lead businesses on both sides of the Atlantic. David chatted through the power of reading for your mental health, the transparency and legislation that is needed around AI usage in the publishing industry, and the exciting ways we can share knowledge between the US and UK. #LBF25 #LondonBookFair #Books #Publishing
