    Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of disability, impacting quality of life for 595 million people globally.     We want to play a leading role in developing better health outcomes for those affected, so we’ve teamed up with the University of Sydney to launch a five-year research fellowship.     This programme will investigate the therapeutic role of supplements in managing osteoarthritis symptoms and digital technologies that improve mobility.     As a global leader in pain relief and vitamins, minerals and supplements – through brands like Panadol, Voltaren, Centrum and Caltrate – we’re collaborating and driving innovation to find new and better ways of managing this chronic condition.    #haleon #innovation

    How can AI help your career?  During our recent Growing at Haleon Week, we dedicated time for all employees globally to think about their career development. We were delighted to have Gianluca Mauro as one of our guest speakers.     Gianluca is the founder of two companies in the AI space, AI Academy and Epiphany. He shared insights on leveraging AI for career advancement, emphasising its role as a tool that will allow us to increase the scope of what we do. He helped us understand where it performs well and where it doesn’t by discussing AI’s jagged capability frontier, so we can all avoid pitfalls in this space.    #haleon #career #AI

    The Haleon Pain Index shows 50% of people find that pain management information is not specific enough to their personal situation.     To recognise the International Association for the Study of Pain's Global Pain Awareness Month this September, we continue to support health professionals to have more personalised conversations with their patients, as part of our global #ListentoPain initiative.     We are proud to spotlight some of the ways our brands are driving meaningful change by tackling specific barriers that stand in the way of pain management.     #Haleon #PainCounts #PainAwarenessMonth

    The world faces a significant waste issue that, if not managed correctly, poses risks to both our health and the environment. The positive aspect is that this problem can be resolved if everyone contributes their part.     At Haleon, we are committed to handling waste responsibly at our manufacturing plants, despite the complexities involved. There has been significant progress in our recycling efforts at our Nyon, Switzerland facility, with rates going from 68% of all non-hazardous waste in our 2021 reporting period to 93% in our 2023 reporting period and continuing to increase further.     Watch the video to see how we manage waste at one of our biggest manufacturing sites in Europe.      #haleon #recycling #manufacturing
