We do love a local collaboration here at Tipple Towers.   For the past three months, we have been creating the most wonderful Botanical Pale Ale with the fantastic Rooster's Brewing Co.   Discover a unique blend of botanicals in this new pale ale. This soft, straw-coloured beer features key botanicals featured in our Premium Harrogate Gin such as juniper berries, lavender, pink grapefruit, and orange peel with lemon verbena & coriander seeds. Combined with Admiral, Amarillo, Cashmere, Riwaka & Nelson Sauvin hops to create an easy-drinking beer abounding with floral & citrus fruit flavours....delicious!   Huge thanks to our Capitano Andrea Natiello and Oliver Fozard for creating such a lovely drink to be enjoyed by gin and beer enthusiasts alike.   Cheers to this!   Undiscovered Land Botanical Pale Ale is available now in can, keg and cask #innovation #creativity #independentbusiness #marketing #craftbeer

#ActuallyMadeIn Harrogate: Verification confirmed! We're proud to announce that we've officially been recognised as part of the 'Actually Made In' campaign.   This campaign was created to elevate the profile of craft distilleries versus brands that claim authenticity. More than just raising awareness, it's about boosting support for local businesses, helping them to not only survive but thrive.   Local support is essential to our success. We believe in trust and reassurance, and we know you appreciate the value of a local brand. This is why we've always encouraged you to visit our distillery to see the process.   Being a craft distiller blends the joy of creativity with dedication to craftsmanship. At Harrogate Tipple, everything we make is created by hand, from garden to glass, enriching the authenticity of our brand and underscoring the importance of supporting local craft producers.   It's a testament to the great work we do here at Harroagte Tipple, and we are honoured to be bona fide members of such a great movement.   A huge shout out to our good friend Seb Heeley for recognising the need for such transparency in our industry and for setting up this fantastic campaign.   Like Seb, we have always battled with other so-called brands stating that they are 'made' in Harrogate, but these bold calls that they make actually couldn't be further from the truth, never mind the region!   Let's raise a glass to authenticity.   Cheers to all members! #authenticity #provenance #independentbusiness #supportlocal #creativity

    Supporting Yorkshire and Midlands Manufacturers

Over recent months, I have met A LOT of manufacturers across god's own country. Each with their own unique capabilities and distinct value propositions. However, Harrogate Tipple Ltd may well be the most unique and tasty one yet. 🍸 Harrogate Tipple has quickly made a name for itself in the world of craft gin, thanks to its unique and well-balanced flavours that set it apart from other gins on the market. But what exactly makes the gin sitting behind 'Donnie' the otter so special? I took a trip out to the beautiful little village of Ripley to meet founder and 'Chief Tipple Taster', Steven Green and find out. 🍸 First and foremost, they are actually Made in Yorkshire. For the avid whiskey drinkers or anyone that's partial to a Tanqueray No 10, you may know the name Tom Nichol. Tom is as experienced as they come in the realm of distilling. In 2015, he was honoured with a lifetime award by The Gin Guild; recognising his 40+ year-long contribution to the drinks industry. Mr Nichol worked with Steven and Andreas Natiello on the very first batch of Harrogate Gin and has been a part of the Harrogate Tipple family ever since. Together, they manufactured what is becoming renowned as the smoothest and most well-balanced gin on the market. After Steven walked me through their incredible gin school (as seen below), Andreas explained what the manufacturing process involves and why their gin so special. It's all about the balance. ⚖️ Andreas recalled a quote made by the master brewer he used to work for - "It's very easy to add flavours but it's very difficult to take them out". So, it's not so much specifically what they put in the gin (although it is this too but my lips are sealed) but rather just getting the ratio right when it comes to the essential ingredients - Juniper berries, Coriander Seeds, Angelica Root and Orange Zest. Almost all of the botanicals used in Harrogate Tipple gin are grown right in the heart of North Yorkshire as well, some of which even in their own garden. Amongst many other things, I was also educated on the important role that their bespoke copper distilling units play. Unlike certain other distilleries which use stainless steel, Harrogate Tipple uses copper because it actually reacts with the alcohol. This reaction naturally removes the harshness left in the alcohol and because Andreas uses Harrogate Spring water instead of tap water, they can guarantee a smooth 'mouthfeel' every time. Oh and the two distilling units have names too: Zac & Cassie. Named after two of their 3 children. What about the third? If you've had a bottle of Harrogate Gin, then you'll have met him already. That's Donnie, their signature otter 🦦 Make sure you give Harrogate Tipple Ltd a follow if you haven't already 👍 Chris Black | Chris Houston | Karen Tinkler | Carles Palomo | Susan Allan | Jo Young | Fiona Tatton | Shelley Stringer | Jonathan Culley | Georgette Donoghue | Chrissie Gale Chartered MCIPD | Andrew Taylor | Ben Wilson

If you keep up with us on Insta, you'll know we enjoy regular chats on there with our local suppliers. Taking the hot seat recently was Steve, Chief Tipple Taster at Harrogate Tipple Ltd. We've supported each other since we first opened our doors over 6 years ago. Steve told us that he's passionate about flying the flag for indie venues like ours and particularly likes working with team Starling.  We get fantastic customer feedback on all three of their flavoured gins - blueberry, gooseberry and rhubarb. They're all popular but if we had to say which one comes out top, we'd probably plump for rhubarb. 🍸 Here's to many more years of collaboration Steve! #CommunityCollaboration #HarrogateIndies #HarrogateTipple

We are super proud to introduce our new range of Special Edition Spirits. Aged and finished in the finest barrels, and bottled in a beautiful ceramic stoneware bottle. This range will be an exclusive release, with each bottle hand-numbered for that extra special touch. Our Brandy and Yort mark and celebrate a very special relationship with Yorkshire Heart Vineyard & Brewery. We have collaborated with them to make what will be Yorkshire's first ever brandy made from scratch, distilling their beautiful wine right here in God's Own Country and within a 12-mile vicinity. Our 'Yort' is aptly named because we couldn't call it 'Port', which we just love! Not only is this a first in Yorkshire but also in England, which fills us with great pride. We have loved every minute of working with this fantastic family-owned vineyard near the beautiful village of Nun Monkton in North Yorkshire. Please visit them if you get the chance.    Please keep an eye out for these wonderful festive treats in both our stores and at York's St. Nicholas Fair for the next six weeks. Be quick, though; they are sure to sell fast..... #spiritsindustry #independentbusiness #innovation #brandy #digitalmarketing
