Our supernova of sophisticated new colours has finally dragged the sun to the UK (you're welcome) that might not be true but it's an incredible coincidence. We will release these amazing indoor watering can colours to Europe in late July and and the USA in late August. Now available to all our UK trade customers, please email sales@haws.co.uk for more info.
About us
Our watering cans are made for life. Elegant in their design they make watering plants a pleasure and are loved by professional, passionate & hobby gardeners around the world. Our guarantee is as famous as our watering cans and throughout the year, we fix old watering cans sent in by their owners who are as sentimental as we are, about their trusted Haws can. All our watering cans are made at Smethwick in Birmingham and at Haws we have been designing, engineering and manufacturing watering cans since 1886.

Our commercial director Mark Jenner-Parson mMBA was interviewed by Lord Ed Vaizey for Times Radio at Chelsea Press day last Monday. The show went out last Friday. Link is in the comments below. Ed, lightly grilled Mark on how our year has been, what's important to the team at Haws, how many watering cans we make a year, and whether we should consider Jeremy Clarkson as a possible celebrity influencer. You can tune in at 1:18:00 to listen to the interview but the show is a rich mix of culture, politics & business news. So there's lots to enjoy. A huge thank you from the team at Haws Watering Cans to Lord Ed Vaizey for reaching out and to Tim Allen for making the magic happen on the day ❤️.

It's quite something when Amy Astley the editor of Architectural Digest adds you to her list of Spring Selects for 2024. The range of beautiful things for the garden are both mind and potentially bank account blowing! Not us though, we are very reasonably priced.

Thank you to the team at Better Homes & Gardens Magazine and Adria Greenhauff for nominating a Haws Watering Lance as a "best splurge" in their March 2024 article. Adria also highlighted the engineering, the beauty and our ethos of made for life. Very proud indeed!

If you are near Hereford and love plants, take a quick detour to Ross on Wye, and you can visit Botanica and see the work Jamie Davies & team put into their horticultural haven. Jon Davis visited this weekend and took these beautiful pictures. Their website is lovely too.

At Haws, we are huge fans of Nordstrom and their focus on the retail experience. So when we were asked to be a small part of their Liberty. at Nordstrom exclusive pop up, we jumped at the chance. You can shop online (link in comments) or go see the eight exclusive pop ups in Seattle, NYC, Michigan Ave, Century City, Palo Alto, Plano, or Domain Northside.

Yesterday we had the fantastic Jill Thomas and Jon Davis pop into the workshop at Haws Watering Cans HQ to learn how we make our watering cans. We won't show the video where Jon broke the metal spout he was meant to gently bend into shape (a task that has to be done by hand) but it's fair to say we are glad he's on our side!

TOAST collaborate with artisans to create simple, modern functional pieces that last for years. We had the pleasure of working with them to create the Nasturtium small batch colour collaboration below, and it just went live today. All of the team were involved but thanks to Josh Papworth, Andy Pennock and the craftswomen & men for their diligence on making this beautiful colour indoor watering can really pop and thanks to everyone at TOAST for reaching out, developing and making this project come to life.
