Tiffany's dedication knows no bounds – she even spent her day off helping an elderly customer with their passport and accompanying him to Heathrow to ensure he made his flight safely. 🧡 The Community Hero Award nomination goes to our fantastic Whitley Bay team! 🏆 Local Community Partnership Roundup - February 2025 🏆 Many of our branches have fundraised for charities close to them, here are some highlights… 🧡 Hays Travel Denton decided to utilise their budget to support Reuben's Retreat, a charity offering family support for those experiencing children living with medical complexities and child loss. The branch's efforts involved leading a comedy night, a night bringing smiles to everyone. Their incredible efforts raised £1,000, providing vital funds to help Reuben's Retreat continue it's amazing work. 💙 Hays Travel Mansfield hosted a coffee morning, cake sale and raffle in aid of charity Lashes Foundation, founded in memory of beloved Evie Jane Wilson. The charity aims to relieve financial hardship, sickness and poor health amongst the community, particularly the elderly and disadvantaged people in Clipstone Parish and surrounding areas. The branch raised a fantastic £200 from the event. 🧡 Hays Travel Swansea organised a charity night in support of Singleton Hospital Baby Special Care Unit. The evening consisted of live music, travel quizzes, raffles and much more. Their incredible efforts raised over £1,000 for the NICU, helping provide specialist intensive care for newborns. Well done to all our branches for all their incredible hard work 👏

🌟 A huge thank you to Hays Travel for their generous grant! Your support will make a real difference to the work we are doing and provides funding towards our #SurfTherapy courses on the Isle of Wight in 2025. Last year, we supported 80 young people through our Surf Therapy; made 330 session spaces available at our Surf Club and delivered 10 #AdaptiveSurfing sessions to young people with physical disabilities at our #IsleOfWight hub. Whilst we are incredibly grateful, it is important to highlight how challenging it is to raise funds on the island. The Isle of Wight may be beautiful, but its location and smaller community make fundraising a real struggle. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a world of difference. Supporting The Wave Project in 2025 is an incredible opportunity for Isle of Wight businesses to make a lasting impact on local communities. Thanks to this funding, the Festival will continue to provide a platform for 13-18 year old artists, offering workshops, live performances, and hands-on experience in festival management.
