What a day it was, So proud of Amelia deciding to walk for THE HEARTS AND BALLS CHARITABLE TRUST for 11 mile kilt walk. I had to accompany her due to her age. Completed the distance in just under 4 hours body tired and soar but so worth it. It’s a fantastic charity. Amelia has smashed her target but If anyone is able to sponsor it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the loan of tops to two and shorts (Rachel and Mary). Tops changed with 5 miles to go 😊

We're delighted to share that Watsoniansrugby Wildcat, Amelia Boyle, will be undertaking the Edinburgh The Kiltwalk on 15 September to raise funds for Hearts + Balls (along with her dad, who has to accompany her due to her age). Amelia first picked up the oval ball at just two years old and moved from playing with Dalkeith to Watsonians when she was 11. Watching numerous adult women's and men's games over the years, none involving serious injury, has nonetheless made her aware of the potential for this to happen, so inspiring her to walk to help rugby help itself.
