Our Director of Science delivered this year’s Lane Lecture in Manchester last night. Professor Andrew Curran discussed the role academic research has had in improving occupational health over the past century, and what HSE evidence needs today as a front line service addressing continued ill-health at work. Professor Curran told delegates: “The Science we do in government is different to science elsewhere – we must find the answers we need to deliver front-line services.”
