#ResultsDay is an important milestone for many young people - especially for those with eating disorders. The process of moving away from home to study or live independently can bring significant challenges if you are undergoing treatment for an eating disorder. Earlier this year we partnered with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, King's College London and people with lived experience of eating disorders to create new learning resources for professionals, designed specifically to support better transitions between eating disorders services. The 10-week programme supports innovators to prepare for a special closed-call funding opportunity through Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst, in partnership with the Medical Research Council, delivered alongside a collaborative learning programme and facilitated networking with key #NHS and #health sector stakeholders. Cohort One of the programme ran from May 2023, where alumni were awarded more than £1m in funding through the Biomedical Catalyst. 🎉We're thrilled to share a groundbreaking case study which is identifying patients at risk of Hepatitis C and also mapping prevalence in different areas. The project is a collaboration between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Discover-Now London Secure Data Environment.    🔍 Key figures:  - Analysis of de-identified GP records from NW London, finding 479,471 at-risk patients  - Enabling targeted interventions for at-risk patients - Supporting the WHO goal of eliminating Hepatitis C by 2030  - £14,600 investment with far-reaching impact This project showcases the immense potential of de-identified data analysis in transforming healthcare delivery.
