If you’re suffering from menopausal symptoms and need guidance, The Menopause Charity has a huge range of information on its website that could help 👉 https://lnkd.in/gV8qBWd If you aren’t going through menopause, use this post as a reminder of the 90% of women who are, and consider how you can support them 💗

Earlier this week the Department of Health and Social Care published its Design for Life strategy - a roadmap setting out the government’s ambition to transition away from all avoidable single-use medical technology (medtech) products, moving towards a functioning circular system by 2045 that maximises reuse, remanufacture and recycling: https://lnkd.in/e4yBKEMB We were delighted to be involved in this work and to be named as a key partner in delivering an important element of the roadmap. Our Net Zero Lead Pete Waddingham shares more.

Understanding why some areas of #NorthStaffordshire and #Stoke have better and poorer health is important to help to reduce differences and improve health for all. New research from Keele University, led by Professor Ross Wilkie, has identified large differences in poor health across the area which highlight the inequalities people face in accessing healthcare across the region. Knowing CPR and how to use a defibrillator can more than double a person's chance of survival in some cases. Great late afternoon/evening session at the beautiful Finnish Ambassador's residence, meeting interesting Finnish Health Techs, making new contacts and catching up.with old friends. Some interesting learning about the Finnish health system (digitised records and therefore data for the whole population back to 2019; significantly aging population leading to interesting market opportunities; proactive approach to innovation etc) If you are interested oin exploring this further, do get in touch!!! Now looking forward to my follow up meetings with a number of the companies present and exploring how we can secure their involvement across the region.
