At Hearst Networks, fostering inclusivity in the workplace is a priority, and we are deeply committed to creating an environment where all individuals are equally supported, encouraged, and allowed to thrive and grow. Digital Commissioning Editor & Lead Content Producer

Over the moon with FOUR shortlisted short-form shows for the inaugural TellyCast - the content industry news podcast Digital Video Awards! 🥳 #CutToTheCrime was a real watershed moment for us when we started commissioning original content for our digital platforms, and I’m so delighted for Miles Jarvis, Jaimi West and the rest of the PHOENIX TELEVISION LIMITED team that worked across the two seasons. And alongside that we have #ExConCarpenters too, from the same team. Both offering fresh ways to deliver true crime confessionals, with exciting and surprising talent, that have all the hallmarks of engaging social-first video, but retain the sensitivity that we’re known for in long-form. #FlyingThroughHistory from Adam Gee, Andy Mundy-Castle and the rest of the team at DocHearts features a drones-eye-view look at some fascinating historical structures dotted around Britain. But what sets it apart is Paul Chowdhry’s inimitable comms. A late entry, and I’m glad Adam managed to get it in there, this is one of our first forays into history with short-form commissioning and I’m really excited about what we have in store for the rest of the year. Finally #TrueCrimeRewind was an internally produced series, with some of our top criminologist talent. It offers a distinct and more in-depth look at real footage featured in our long-form shows. I’m so pleased to see recognition for our production teams here at Hearst Networks EMEA, a massive well done everyone involved, but especially Sergey Saprygin and Sophie Almklev who brought the concept together. Fingers crossed for when we get to the awards and good luck to everyone else (except the ones we’re up against)🤞

  • Excited to announce that we have commissioned a new 3 part drama-doc from Nutopia – "Jack The Ripper: Written in Blood (w.t)". This co-production with Sky will bring a unique perspective to this iconic period, as it won’t be exploring the murders or the killer himself, but rather how Jack The Ripper became a global media sensation, and how the influence of the press impacted the victims and the investigation. Airing in April on Sky HISTORY – this definitely not a show to be missed! To find out more click here https://lnkd.in/eKVShqVN

  • Media companies are juggling more content than ever, all while navigating increasingly complex delivery pipelines. To streamline operations and adapt to evolving business needs, we at Hearst Networks EMEA transitioned our entire content supply chain to the cloud. Using the cloud-native media supply chain management platform, Rally, developed by SDVI Corporation, we can optimise our content sourcing, processing, localisation, enrichment, storage, and distribution workflows across Europe and the Middle East. This modernised supply chain encompasses VOD platforms, linear feeds, and the archive, all to deliver unmatched agility, efficiency, and scalability, meaning we respond to opportunities and changes in the market with greater flexibility, speed, and control. While working on the project, our VP of Media Operations Jan-Hendrik Hein commented “It is not just about new technology. It is about innovative ways of working and making the best out of the opportunities that technology gives you,”
