At Hearst Networks, we feel we are an extended family. We work at our best when we work as one, which is why building friendships is so important to us. Come rain or shine, whether we’re celebrating each other’s wins or learning from our failures, we’re in it together! … And while we love what we do, we also make time to those who are significant in our lives, and that includes our pets. This is Skeye Hewlett’s pet Disco Bean – A Russian dwarf Hamster named after it’s round appearance and Skeye’s love for disco music! – Happy Halloween everyone!

Fostering a culture of philanthropy and giving in the workplace, our Give as Your Earn benefit, available to all employees, has won an award. The Gold Award is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers who have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through Payroll Giving. Donating our time is equally important to us. Our staff in London has regularly volunteered for the Upper Room, our charity partner, in various initiatives to raise funds, donate goods, and give their time. By the end of the year, we have: • Helped serve 976 meals to guests at the Upper Room; • Ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon, raising the target needed, which was then later matched by the company; • Organised a bake sale at our London office, with proceeds directly supporting The Upper Room’s programmes; • Contributed to the Harvest Appeal, where colleagues gathered essential items for those in need. These included not only food but also non-perishables such as clothing and toiletries; • Donating unused merchandise and IT equipment, with our marketing and IT teams pitching in to make a difference; • Help support their Christmas initiatives. Thank you to our staff and The Upper Room. Making a difference one step at a time. https://lnkd.in/e_E5DTUy
