Rapid Paced Solution Provided! ⏩ This week, we successfully concluded a project in collaboration with a global IT solutions and provider, involving a rapid-paced Audio/Visual solution. Essentially, the requirement was to design, manufacture, and assemble 150 speaker systems within a tight timeframe of 7 calendar days. Additionally, a subset of 50 of these components needed to be produced in a specific pigment, necessitating custom material manufacturing. As usual, we embraced the challenge and devised a strategy to accomplish what might seem like an insurmountable task. Leveraging our strong relationships within the material supply chain, we managed to expedite the manufacturing process within Europe in just 48 hours. The manufactured goods were then swiftly delivered to us in the UK the following day. With our machines operating efficiently around the clock, we successfully placed these products in the hands of our customers in the Netherlands within the stipulated 7-day timeframe. The outcome of our efforts was met with high praise: “𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗧!!!! 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸. 𝗠𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁. It's been a dynamic week at HenleyPrint3D, where both our Henley-On-Thames and London facilities have been operating at full capacity, successfully fulfilling a substantial volume of orders totalling over 5500 parts. Among these projects, we tackled the production of a mould earmarked for the batch production of UK made lighting equipment. The challenge lay in achieving a surface roughness of <3.5Ra µm, a particularly demanding criterion for FDM technology, necessitated by the large part dimensions exceeding 500mm. Collaborating closely with our customer, we engaged in multiple iterations to develop a customized printing and post-processing workflow that met the stringent requirements. Our agile and open-minded approach facilitated swift iterations, allowing us to navigate the complexities of FDM and meet the customer's exacting standards. This success highlights the industrial capabilities of FDM, especially in applications like mold production. The alternative, traditional CNC manufacturing, would have incurred higher costs and exponentially longer lead times. This achievement underscores the effectiveness of our methodology in overcoming challenges and pushing the boundaries of what FDM can achieve in industrial contexts. Pushing the limits again at HenleyPrint3D this week! 🚀 We successfully tackled another challenging SLA print – an intricate skeletal structure featuring a scale model chest, spine, and lungs. This project posed multiple challenges, as the parts were incredibly thin, approximately 1mm, making them susceptible to damage during printing. Additionally, the intricate design required a huge amount of support material for structural integrity. The final curing stage then also presented a risk of warping, potentially compromising the model's purpose. The most demanding aspect was the meticulous removal of supports without damaging the part, a initially seeming impossible task. However, we not only accepted the challenge but completed it to the highest quality. This really is a testament to the hands on skills of our team here which we are immensely proud to have. This is another example of a challenge turned down by other suppliers which we not only completed, but to the highest quality. The client's satisfaction speaks volumes, reinforcing our commitment to pushing the limits of the technologies we work with. Another successful day here at HenleyPrint3D! 💪 #HenleyPrint3D #SLAPrinting #Innovation #ManufacturingSuccess

Presenting one of our latest accomplishments at HenleyPrint3D! 🚀 We recently completed a project for one of the world's largest aircraft equipment manufacturers, involving a substantial prototype in SLA (resin) technology. The challenge? A high-definition model exceeding 1500mm in length. While there are various ways to join additive parts, like adhesive or pins, we took a unique approach. Instead of conventional methods, we used the same photosensitive resin as the part itself to seamlessly join them together. The result is a large, homogenous part with consistent mechanical properties, markedly reducing the risk of failure at the joins compared to traditional methods. Many suppliers might have declined this challenging job, but at HenleyPrint3D, we enjoy overcoming such hurdles. It's in navigating these challenges that our expertise shows through, allowing us to achieve results that others simply cannot match. Stay tuned for more updates this week, as we continue to push the boundaries of additive manufacturing, this time in the medical domain. Team HenleyPrint3D remains committed to innovation and excellence! 💪 #HenleyPrint3D #AdditiveManufacturing #Innovation #ManufacturingExcellence
