Hertfordshire County Council is investing over £1.3 million to deliver over 520,000 nutritious meals across the county this year. 🥘 During this Meals on Wheels Week, Cllr Tony Kingsbury visited Rosemary, a 92-year-old resident, to see firsthand how these meals and daily visits from Health & Independent Living Support (HILS) support her independence and wellbeing. Cllr Kingsbury shared, “Despite financial pressures, we’re committed to ensuring all Hertfordshire residents live healthy and fulfilling lives.” Meals on Wheels not only provides food but, company to those who may be affected by loneliness. The service also helps keep Hertfordshire residents living independently in their own homes. Rosemary’s story highlights how valuable the service is to our residents. We're helping Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) to share this important survey, please follow the link to have your say 👇
We are working with Hertfordshire County Council and Healthwatch Essex to give local residents a chance to have their say on if local health and wellbeing services meet their needs: https://buff.ly/3UwJ6v4. Local decision makers in Hertfordshire and West Essex are seeking to understand how people can support their own health and wellbeing through access and support from local services such as mental health support, community groups and physical activity opportunities, information and advice. The survey below is an opportunity for you to share your health and wellbeing priorities. Your feedback will help decision makers understand how best to support you in maintaining your health and wellbeing and how best to support you. The more people who complete the survey, the better. So please feel free to fill it in, and share it across your networks.
