Our Ops team have been busy in South Wales again last night, supporting Core Highways with a #BG800 installation on the A483 at Cynghordy in Camarthenshire. 🐲 Our team worked overnight in the rural location to install the barrier within the limited window of a road closure in both directions from south of Glanbran Arms to Cynghordy. The deployment is part of a project to repair an embankment on the northbound lane of the A483 south of Cynghordy. We've settled back into the normal routine after Highways UK last week, but we're still buzzing from the show 🤩 And there will be bees buzzing next spring thanks to our presence at the show too, because this year we put a clear focus on sustainability 🌿 How did we do that? 🌿Our sustainable #ACLM themed giveaways were wildflower seed bombs - we don't want delegates to keep them, we want them to sprinkle them outside where they will grow into wildflowers that will attract pollinators and contribute to biodiversity 💐🐝🐞 🌿Our stand used more renewable timber and less plastic than ever before🌳 🌿Our stand was designed to enable us to re-use or recycle as much as possible ♻️ 🌿Our brochures are printed on recycled paper stock using environmentally friendly inks ♻️ Our business is committed to delivering on our #ESG goals and we are constantly looking for new ways to be more sustainable - from the solar panels on the roof of our HQ to the cycle-to-work scheme we offer our clients, we're pioneering innovative solutions for a more sustainable future! 🌞 #sustainability #environmental #carbonreduction #highwaysUK #innovativesolutionsforasaferfuture #highwaycare
