We are delighted to announce that we have entered into contract with Hartford Care to develop a new state-of-the-art 70 bedroom residential care home in Eastleigh, Hampshire, where we hope to commence on site later this year subject to planning.   The new home will feature industry-leading sustainability credentials ensuring a BREEAM Excellent rating. Located amidst landscaped green spaces, the home will provide a peaceful, environmentally-conscious setting for its residents.   This project is the latest milestone in a successful, decade-long partnership between Hartford Care and Highwood Group, which continues to deliver exceptional, future-proof buildings. What a fantastic way to wrap up the year! 🎄 Last week, Highwood Group gathered for our annual Christmas party—a special celebration marking not just the festive season but also our 20th anniversary! Thank you to our team of consultants who worked hard and collaboratively to submit detailed planning yesterday for our Whitsbury Road, Fordingbridge scheme, containing a 70 bedroom care home and 8 dwellings.    This marks another milestone in the Hartford Care and Highwood Group journey, delivering best in class care homes in partnership that stems back over a decade.    Phillip Prosser, Managing Director of Highwood Homes "I am delighted to be working with Hartford Care once again, where we are building a steady pipeline of best in class facilities to meet the growing care demand along the South Coast. Highwood working in partnership with Barchester Healthcare secures consent for another care led development. We are delighted to announce that we have just secured detailed planning permission for a 60 bed care home and 8 age restricted bungalows on a site in Storrington within Horsham District. This is a high quality scheme which had many challenges to address, but working closely with our partner, Barchester, in particular, Julian Burgess and his team, we have managed to secure a consent that will see us deliver a best in class care home to the residents of Storrington. However, none of this would be possible without our excellent consultant team in helping us to navigate our way through this process. Special thanks to Harris Irwin Architects, Paul Basham Associates, Deacon Design, Tetra Tech, The Environmental Dimension Partnership Ltd, Turley, James Fuller, and Wallingford HydroSolutions. We would also like to thank the officers at Horsham District Council for their willingness to engage in the process and for working collaboratively to reach this point.
