#HMMnews | HMM's Onboard Carbon Capture System (#OCCS) is finally ready for operational testing! OCCS is an advanced technology designed to capture CO2 during vessel operations, preventing its release into the atmosphere. After conducting a feasibility study since April last year with SHI (Samsung Heavy Industries), Korean Register, and PANASIA, we are now set to test OCCS on HMM Mongla, a 2,200 TEU containership.
