About us
HNF Property began its life as the partnership of Hooper Naylor Friend chartered surveyors, it was established in 1992 as a result of a management buyout. It was created to provide a specialist professional service for property in the South London, North Surrey and North Kent areas. Now the Partnership of John Naylor and Peter Friend provides clients with the benefit of in excess of 40 years experience in property. As Chartered Surveyors with a traditional general practice surveying background and extensive experience in agency we are able to provide advice in all aspects of commercial and residential property. The agency side deals with selling and letting covering retail, office and industrial space as well as sites and investment. The management side of the company handles a variety of property including management of commercial property, mixed use management, residential block management and the management of assured shorthold tenancies individually or as part of a portfolio. The professional side of the firm deals with surveys and valuations, the negotiations of rent reviews and lease renewals, rating advice and appeals. We advise on matters of property dilapidation, preparing Schedules of Dilapidations and negotiating for landlords and tenants. Recently we have developed into more specialist areas. Firstly, dealing with Lease Extension and Freehold Enfranchisement, and secondly, providing lease plans and energy rating certificates on residential and commercial property. Our clients range from private individuals and property companies to public limited companies and we are happy to take enquiries and advise on all property matters.
