A massive congratulations to George Haywood and Conor Byrne for completing the French Riviera Marathon in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. The two of them absolutely smashed it! They were on track to break the 4 hour barrier and were side by side until 36.5km, when George collapsed and had to be deposited in the medical tent. After a challenging stint in the tent, George made a miraculous recovery and rose like a phoenix from the ashes, finishing with a time of 4h 23m, whilst Conor finished at 3h 49m. What an incredible week at Salon Privé! From the spectacular red carpet kick-off party in a private hangar, to the black-tie dinner hosted in the library of Blenheim Palace, to making new connections with our wonderful and accommodating co-sponsors.
